<h2 dir="ltr">About the Role</h2> We're looking for a Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, build, and maintain enterprise ServiceNow implementations — from module configuration and integrations to platform lifecycle management and technical debt reduction. This is a hands-on development role: requirements and user stories are typically already defined, and you'll execute against them with real platform depth, not just admin-level configuration. Strong overlap with US business hours is required. <h2 dir="ltr">What You'll Do</h2> <ul> <li dir="ltr" aria-level="1"> Develop and configure ServiceNow solutions across relevant modules (ITSM, ITOM, CSM, and others depending on engagement) </li> <li dir="ltr" aria-level="1"> Build and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, and MID Servers with existing enterprise systems </li> <li dir="ltr" aria-level="1"> Write advanced JavaScript for ServiceNow scripting — Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Actions </li> <li dir="ltr" aria-level="1"> Follow upgrade-safe, OOTB-first configuration practices, favoring Flow Designer and Decision Tables over heavy custom scripting where possible </li> <li dir="ltr" aria-level="1"> Support platform governance, data integrity, and technical debt reduction </li> <li dir="ltr" aria-level="1"> Collaborate closely with existing product and delivery teams against defined requirements and user stories </li> <li dir="ltr" aria-level="1"> Contribute to platform-architecture-level initiatives such as Now Assist (GenAI), Virtual Agent, CSDM, and ITOM AIOps where applicable </li> <li dir="ltr" aria-level="1"> Support ACL remediation and platform security hygiene </li> </ul> <h2 dir="ltr">What You Bring</h2> <ul> <li dir="ltr" aria-level="1"> Strong to expert-level hands-on ServiceNow development experience </li> <li dir="ltr" aria-level="1"> 5+ years hands-on enterprise ServiceNow development experience (8+ years in Information Services overall preferred) </li> <li dir="ltr" aria-level="1"> Advanced JavaScript skills for ServiceNow scripting (Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Actions) </li> <li dir="ltr" aria-level="1"> Strong communication skills for close collaboration with client and delivery teams </li> <li dir="ltr" aria-level="1"> Comfort working within an upgrade-safe, OOTB-first configuration philosophy </li> <li dir="ltr" aria-level="1"> Ability to work independently against pre-defined requirements and user stories </li> </ul> <h2 dir="ltr">Nice to Have</h2> <ul> <li dir="ltr" aria-level="1"> Experience with specialized ServiceNow modules: Integration Hub, Performance Analytics, Software Asset Management (SAM), CSM, or App Engine Studio </li> <li dir="ltr" aria-level="1"> ITIL 4 Foundation certification </li> <li dir="ltr" aria-level="1"> Experience with AI-enabled ServiceNow capabilities (Now Assist / GenAI, Virtual Agent) </li> <li dir="ltr" aria-level="1"> Experience with CSDM 4.0/5.0 and enterprise-scale platform architecture </li> </ul>
